DC has just presented our very own Australian Robbie “Maddo” Madison’s ‘Pipe Dream’, a high resolution 4k video documenting history being made as Maddo literally rides his dirt bike onto the waves of Tahiti.
If you’re not familiar with him, Robbie Madison holds the Guinness World Record for the longest jump on a motorcycle. Some other notable stunts in his career as an FMX competitor includes a backflip over the opened Tower Bridge in London, a leap over 300 feet across the Corinth Canal and a 400 feet jump over the San Diego Harbour.
All of the above clearly wasn’t enough for the thrill seeker though, with Robbie focusing on making motorbike surfing a reality for almost two years now.
As seen in this amazing footage, his efforts have now paid off in Tahiti, where he rode the world famous waves at Teahupoo Papara.
