A phrase that we throw around quite often at T-LD is ‘Less is More’. A few small modifications as simple as a set of wheels and colour co-ordination can make the world of a difference to the appearance of any car, as is the case with Herb’s EVO X.
The Vossen Wheels on Herb’s EVO X are CVT’s, part of the CV Series measuring 19×10 inches. The CV Series uses a low-pressure casting process and delivers classic monoblock designs, with the CVT being Vossen’s introduction into ‘Directional Movement’ wheels.
Just like the VLE-1 wheels on the Audi R8 we showed you last week, CVT requires four molds, rather than the typical 1 or 2 molds for standard cast wheels. As a result, the wheels on the drivers side and passenger side of the vehicle twist towards the same direction, whether it’s a square or staggered fitment.
