For the past five consecutive years, the Miami International Boat Show has become the platform for Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing to present their annual boat collaboration.
With 2,000 exhibitors and over 3,000 boats on display, standing out amongst the rest can prove to be quite a challenge, not for Cigarette Racing though. Teaming up with the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT S, Cigarette Racing has released their 50 Marauder GT S concept.
As the most powerful production twin engine performance boat, the Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S Concept marries the characteristic styling and thoroughbred motorsport technology of the Mercedes-AMG GT S. Incorporating a stunning AMG Solarbeam Yellow painted exterior with custom matte black accents. The new concept boat was designed to mimic the dynamic character of the Mercedes-AMG GT S, which is currently on display alongside it at the Miami International Boat Show.
With the launch of the Mercedes-AMG GT S in April (US market), Mercedes-AMG is introducing a highly compelling new pure-bred sports car that combines driving dynamics and first-class racetrack performance with a stunning design. Its front mid-engine design and use of intelligent aluminum lightweight construction form the basis for a highly dynamic driving experience. The newly developed AMG 4.0-litre V-8 biturbo engine underscores the hallmark of AMG driving performance and develops 375kW and 650 Nm of torque, propelling the car from 0 – 100 km/h in a breathtaking 3.7 seconds.
So the question that needs to be asked, would you take the Mercedes-AMG GT S or the Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S boat? The Mercedes-AMG GT S is currently slated for a 2016 launch in Australia.
