In anticipation of Tokyo Auto Salon 2016, Mazda has shown off a few conceptual designs of its MX-5 roadster (Mazda Roadster RS Racing Concept) and CX-3 crossover (CX-3 Racing Concept) as a taste of what’s to come at the show later this month.

Both models are based on production versions and have been dubbed as “Racing Concept” variants. Additional upgrades include a full aero kit with upgraded wheels, racing seats and an Alcantara interior whilst the MX-5 also gains adjustable suspension.

There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but we can expect to see and learn more about these models and new ones once they are officially unveiled at Tokyo Auto Salon.

Stay tuned for more updates leading up to the show, which is set to take place between January 15 to 17.
