Jaguar and Land Rover have officially announced their partnership with Spectre, the upcoming 24th James Bond adventure film. The C-X75 concept vehicle has been confirmed to feature in a spectacular chase scene in Rome, supposedly with the Aston Martin DB10 driven by Mr.Bond himself.
The C-X75 concept was first shown off at the 2010 Paris Auto Show and features an incredibly lightweight yet rigidly strong structure re-inforced by carbon fiber.
Upon its initial launch, the C-X75 was touted as the hybrid supercar of the future with a projected 0-100 km/h acceleration performance goal of under 3 seconds.
It’s powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged and supercharged four-cylinder engine capable of producing 374kW. In addition to this, the C-X75’s two electric motors add a further 290kW, for a combined output in excess of 633kW!
The 24th James Bond film will also feature the Range Rover Sport SVR and Defender Big Foot. Spectre is scheduled to be released on November 6th, 2015.
