Hyundai has unveiled an all new concept as part of its entry into the Vision Gran Turismo experience, known as the “N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo Concept”.
As part of celebrating the “Gran Turismo” video game series, the Vision Gran Turismo program calls upon designers to create a car to appear in the video game, and Hyundai has made this virtual concept a reality.
Surprising attendees of the recent 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Korean car maker has used the Vision Gran Turismo Concept to focus on its new ‘N’ sub-brand which focuses on high performance and race track cars.
Inspired by aeronautics and formed by speed, the new concept looks like a jet fighter on wheels that blurs the line between air and asphalt.
The concept comprises of a carbon fibre monocoque, keeping the cars weight to a minimal 972kg. Total power output is 650 kW (670 HP).
Whilst not much else is known performance wise, Hyundai’s Head of Performance Development and High Performance Vehicle Division, Albert Biermann has stated that Hyundai N will look to create “striking and pioneering high-performance cars.”
The Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo Concept is currently on the showroom floor at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show and will appear in Gran Turismo.
