Automobile designer Henrik Fisker, who is best known for creations including the Aston Martin DB9, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Fisker Karma, and BMW Z8 has just taken the covers off his latest design study, the Aston Martin Thunderbolt.

Designed as a powerful GT coupe, the Thunderbolt is based off the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish coupe and is Henrik’s personal interpretation of what it should actually look like.

The Thunderbolt’s exterior profile comprises of hand-laid, coach-built carbon fiber bodywork. Performance upgrades include lowering the standard ride height of the car by 15 millimeters and fitment of 21-inch alloy wheels with performance tires.

Inside, Henrik has taken Aston Martin’s traditional elegance that one step further. The Thunderbolt features a world first, Panasonic’s 11.6-inch Curved Control Screen, a swiss made Maurice Lacroix skeleton chronograph watch and a unique champagne/wine bottle holder, you know – for securely transporting a bottle or two, to dinner parties as a gift.

Whilst the Aston Martin Thunderbolt is a conceptual study, design firm Fisker and Galpin have announced limited production of the Thunderbolt. All vehicles to be produced will be available exclusively at Galpin Aston Martin.
