Earlier this year, the Williams F1 team confirmed a multi-year agreement with British clothing brand Hackett London, securing the clothing supplier as a sponsor from 2015 onwards.

The sponsorship means that Hackett London will provide Williams drivers and team members with branded race suits, clothing and apparel to be worn throughout the Grand Prix season. Whilst no financial information has been disclosed to the public, Hackett London’s branding has been included on the nose of Williams’ race car and race suits.

To celebrate the newly formed partnership, Hackett London has suited up the pit crew and added a dash of style to the pitstop, dubbing it as “The Coolest Pitstop Ever”. Watch the video at the end of this post to see the cameras catching all the action on the ground.

Whilst the feat was filmed in Spain, the first race of the Formula One Grand Prix season will be kicking off this Sunday, March 15. The Williams F1 team managed to slip in a successful practice session run on Friday, March 13.

“It was a very productive Friday”, says Williams F1 driver Valtteri Bottas. “Straight out of the box the car felt good; it was particularly good in the long runs and the tyres felt consistent with not much drop off in performance. We can still find improvements in the short run pace and do more to unlock the tyre performance over one lap, so that will be a focus in tomorrow’s third practice session.”

The Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix is currently taking place in Albert Park, Melbourne until Sunday, March 15. For more information, visit the official Grand Prix website.
