Only a handful of brands can boast a legacy equal in stature to that of Nissan’s Z-car marque. The original Z sold way back in 1969 and it’s successors have been turning heads across the globe ever since. Fast forward more than forty years and we have this – the COR x Built To Order 370Z that’s breaking necks right here on the streets of Sydney.

Owned by local enthusiast, Peter, this 370 was first purchased in late 2010. It didn’t stay standard for long with Peter enlisting the help of new Sydney workshop, Built To Order, to get it sorted out.

The wheels are known as Ciphers, made my American company, COR. The full polished face and chrome outer lips are every bit the attention grabbing centrepieces they’re supposed to be.

Sizes are being kept somewhat under wraps with all parties involved remaining tight-lipped about the offsets used. What we do know is that the front pair measure 20x10in and the rears are a giant 20x12in.

Rolling at this height requires a capable suspension setup which is exactly what BTO fitted up. An Accu-Air e-Level management system is responsible for getting the car low and features a unique self-levelling system for optimum comfort.

Peter’s chosen Accu-Air airbag system features a wireless remote for cordless control of the suspension. All components of the air install are cleverly hidden inside the spare wheel well.

Under the hood you’ll find an Injen intake kit assisting the VQ’s breathing, and adding a little visual enhancement as well.

Progress on this 370 isn’t about to slow down with a full JL Audio system set to be fitted in the next little while.

Along with the stereo setup, a full exhaust from the headers back will be finding it’s way into the coupe very soon.

Many thanks to guest photographer, Jordan Donnelly of Canibeat.com. If you’re interested in a set of similar wheels for your ride, speak with Built To Order who are the proud AU/NZ Distributors of Rotiform, COR and VIP Modular. Check out their Facebook for details.
