Behind the brand
Celebrating 100 Years
The Story of Bentley
Since being founded in 1919, Bentley has always stood for fine craftsmanship with a pursuit to build the most desirable grand tourers in the world.
The company was founded by W.O. Bentley and the first car to bear his name pulled out of New Street Mews, London in the founding year.
From there, the brand achieved five victories at Le Mans during the 1920s and it has embodied performance from racing into luxury street cars ever since.

Luxe Mobility and Bentley’s Ascension Into Top Class
A human touch is what makes a Bentley so special. The Bentley factory in Crewe, North-West of England is where each and every Bentley is made, by thousands of highly skilled people crafting cars by hand.
By commissioning the best of materials throughout its Veneers, Leather Hides, Stitching, Embroidery, Paint, Bespoke Marquetry and more, Bentley has remained at the top of its game.

Drawing Design Inspiration from Visual Interpretations
Current Bentley designer, Stefan Sielaff who heads the design studio draws inspiration from Fashion, Fine Art, Architecture and Aircraft Design.
In the new Continental GT alone, the lines and forms have been inspired by aircraft fuselages, whilst the headlights follow detailing from perfectly cut crystal glass.
