A Closer Look at the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster

Fresh off its unveiling at Monterey Car Week last month, car authority Autoblog have gotten their hands on the all new stunning Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster.

Photographer Drew Phillips, who has previously captured Lamborghini’s Veneno has now shown off the sharp angles and aggressive lines of the the new SV Roadster.

The naturally aspirated, 6.5-litre V12 produces 552 kW (750 hp) at 8,400 rpm and 690 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) happens in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of more than 350 km/h, all of which can now be enjoyed whilst you’ve got the roof down.

Lamborghini’s highly innovative 7-speed ISR transmission delivers an incomparably emotional gear shift and transfers the engine’s power to all four wheels through a Haldex Generation IV 4WD system.

The drop-top still features carbon fibre body panels with a break in the roofline. By removing the top section, Lamborghini’s design team have managed to make the SV Roadster even more angular than its coupe based sibling, sharing inspiration from an F-117 stealth jet fighter.

Deliveries of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster begin in early 2016, limited to only 500 units with a base price of $530,075 USD (approximately $720,000 AUD).
